[ARCHIVED] Property Tax Bills are Due December 1st

Time is running out to pay your Greene County property taxes.  Tax bills are due on December 1st.  

COVID-19 STATEMENT

For the safety of our taxpayers and staff we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you paying online or by dropbox.
At this time, the office is open our normal business hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
If the situation declines, the hours/access may change. 

Can I pay my bill online?

Yes.  Just go to https://greenecountygatax.com/#/  You can search for the property bill  using Names, Addresses, Bill Numbers, Account Numbers and Parcel Numbers.  The following payment types are accepted.  A small user fee is assessed per transaction.

I use Bill Pay through my bank/credit union. What should I do?

Enter your parcel ID as your account number when you set up the payment. Schedule your payment several days before December 1 so it arrives on time to avoid being charged penalties and interest.

MAIL MUST BE POSTMARKED BY DECEMBER 1st OR IT WILL BE CONSIDERED LATE.

What if I am late paying my taxes?

Late payments are charged a penalty of 5% every 120 days plus interest which accrues on the outstanding balance every month until paid in full. If payment is more than 30 days late, a tax lien may be placed on your property.
