Greene County's Animal Control provides customary and traditional animal control services in the unincorporated areas of Greene County. For service in the unincorporated areas of Greene County contact Greene County Animal Control.

Greene County does NOT provide animal control services inside the incorporated limits of the City of Greensboro, the City of Union Point, the City of Woodville, the City of White Plains. or the City of Siloam.

Rabies

There have been no confirmed cases of rabies found in Greene County this year. 

The animal control office would like to remind all pet owners to make sure that all pets are currently vaccinated for rabies by a licensed veterinarian. We also ask that you do not attempt to feed or handle any stray or wild animals. To report any problems that you may be having or if you have any questions please contact our office at 706-454-7039. Stray Animals

Do not feed any stray or wild animals, as doing so could possibly be dangerous and create even more unwanted problems. We ask that you report all stray animals to Animal Control as soon as possible.
