Lake Oconee Area Development Authority

Overview

The Lake Oconee Area Development Authority is a joint development authority. It was formed between Putnam and Greene counties in order to offer job tax credits as incentives for manufacturers and warehouse facilities in Georgia (see the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, Section 36-62- 5.1). The Lake Oconee Development Authority has the ability to issue revenue bonds for qualified businesses.
