Program Overview
The ages for Youth Football in the Greene County Recreation League range ages 5 to 12. This program was created for children to learn the fundamentals of football and have fun doing so..
Greene participates in the Lake Area Football conference with Jasper, Putnam and Morgan County.
Age Groups
- Ages 5 and 6 Flag Football
- Ages 7 and 8 Division
- Ages 9 and 10 Division
- Ages 11 and 12 Division
Season
Practice will begin in August with games beginning in early September and running through the end of October. Teams are allowed to practice twice during the week and once on the weekends.
Online Registration & Fees
Registration will begin the second week of June and run through the first week of August. The Recreation Department provides (on loan) a helmet and shoulder pads.
- Fees are determined based on the current cost of equipment, uniforms, and officials. Please visit the registration page for the current fees for this season.
- $10 out of County fee for anyone living outside of Greene County (Must show proof of residency)
- A certified birth certificate is required to register
- Payment may be made by check, money order, or credit card
